Mandatory water breaks

The NCISL has initiated its mandatory water break policy due to the hot weather.

Water breaks should occur approximately midway through each half and should commence at a stoppage in play.

Water breaks must not last longer than 2 minutes.

Extra time will not be added on by the referee to accommodate for lost time due to the water break.

Mandatory water breaks will remain in place until the hot weather subsides
