Message from the NCISL President

Hello NCISL players

I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and coping well in these difficult times.  

I wanted to write to you today to keep you informed about our plans for 2021.

In March, when it was clear that our summer was again going to be restricted, we made the decision to only offer a 7 a side program for the 2021 season. Last year’s season was a tremendous success and we are confident that this season will be even better.

Already over 30 teams have entered and we are very close to selling out on two nights of the week. If your team hasn’t entered yet, then I recommend that you do so quickly to avoid disappointment.

Of course we don’t know when the season will start or how long it will be. Those decisions can only be finalized when the authorities grant us permission to start playing, but I can assure you that we will start as soon as possible. We are currently planning for a mid-June start with the season extending to mid-September.

If you need help in finalizing your team, please reach out to Dawn Dinsdale. She may have a list of players looking to join a team.

Last year the Boards of Directors met every two weeks to manage the organization through the pandemic, however this year we decided to take a different approach. The Board of Directors still meet once per month but three committees have been formed to focus on a specific task.

We have formed an Operations Committee to work on the 2021 season, a Strategy Committee to work on a roadmap out of the pandemic and a Marketing Committee to work on marketing our organization. All 3 committees are working well and we will be keeping you informed of their progress over the coming weeks.

In the meantime, please continue to check the NCISL web site for announcements. We will continue to post news when it becomes available.
