2021 Laws of the Game

The laws of the game have been updated for 2021

For those who played last year here is a summary of the main changes

Law 3 Duration of the game
The duration of the game is now 60 minutes (2 x 30 minute halves)

The half time interval is now 5 minutes

Law 8 Corner kicks
There is no longer a restriction of 3 players in the penalty area from each team

Law 11 - Heading the ball
Heading the ball is now permitted

Law 18 - Ball retrieval
Teams will alternate in retrieving the game ball that has been kicked over the fence

The home team will be first to retrieve the ball
