NCISL announce a Skills Improvement Program

The NCISL are pleased to announce that their Skills Improvement program is back for another year.

The NCISL will partner with two soccer academies to provide 2 six week programs aimed at improving a players skill at both goal keeping and outfield skills.

For the goal keeping program the NCISL are partnering with the Golden Gloves Academy which is managed by former Canadian goal keeper Tania Singfield. Tania, who was a member of the 1995 World Cup Squad, will be coaching the 6 week program at the University of Ottawa field in May and June.

For the outfield program the NCISL are partnering with the Scorpion Soccer Academy which is managed by Greg Holden and Jay Crier. Jay is a former England international at schoolboy level. Both Greg and Jay are highly respected coaches who have also played at a high level in both the USA and England. The 6 week outfield course will be held at an NCISL field still to be determined.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for NCISL players to improve their skills" said NCISL President Tim Baigent. "We are very fortunate that such highly respected and qualified coaches are prepared to work with us for the 2008 season"

There is a limit to the number of people who can attend each program. Places will be awarded on a first come first served basis.
