Mandatory water break policy

For safety reasons the NCISL has a mandatory water break policy for all games during hot weather periods

1. The General Manager will announce when the mandatory water breaks policy will be in operation. Announcements will be made on the web site, via social media and via email to both players and referees.

2. Water breaks should occur approximately midway through each half and should commence at a stoppage in play.

3. Water breaks must not last longer than 2 minutes.

4. Extra time will not be added on by the referee to accommodate for lost time due to the water break.
